Residing on campus, this role ensures timely access to medical care, supports preventive health initiatives, and helps maintain a safe and healthy school environment. The medical professional works closely with parents, school administration, dorm staff, and other caregivers while modeling Christ-like compassion and serving within the school’s Christian mission. Key Responsibilities: Student Medical Care * Provide daily medical assessment, treatment, and care for students with illness, injuries, chronic conditions, or health concerns. * Maintain regular clinic hours and be available for medical emergencies or urgent needs outside normal hours as required. * Administer medication and treatments, including the use of natural remedies when possible and appropriate, in accordance with professional standards and school policies. * Monitor student recovery and follow up on ongoing medical cases. Position Summary: The Agriculture Specialist is responsible for developing and overseeing agricultural programs that support student learning, campus sustainability, and food production at Eben-Ezer. This position combines hands-on agricultural work with student education, mentorship, and community development. The specialist will design, maintain, and improve systems such as gardening, crop cultivation, soil care, composting, and sustainable farming practices appropriate to the tropical environment. Key Responsibilities: Agricultural Program Development * Plan, implement, and manage agricultural projects suitable for a jungle climate, including gardens, orchards, greenhouses and small-scale crops. * Develop seasonal plans based on local soil conditions, rainfall patterns, and crop needs. * Promote sustainable farming practices that protect the environment and improve long-term productivity. * Maintain inventories of seeds, tools, materials, and equipment. Position Summary: The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing school vehicles, machinery, tools, and mechanical systems while living and serving on the campus of Eben-Ezer. This role supports the operational needs of the school, ensures transportation and equipment remain safe and reliable, and contributes to the overall ministry by modeling a Christ-centered work ethic and mentoring students when appropriate. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance * Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on school vehicles, including buses, cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, and small engines. * Diagnose mechanical problems and recommend cost-effective repair solutions. * Maintain a schedule for oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other routine service tasks. * Keep accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventories of tools, parts, and supplies. Campus Machinery & Systems * Repair and maintain campus equipment such as generators, water pumps, lawn equipment, tools, and mechanical appliances. * Troubleshoot mechanical issues in campus systems and recommend preventive strategies. * Assist with installation of new equipment as needed.
